GETTING TO WFX


Where is WFX being held?
WFX is being held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. The Convention Center is located at 100 South Capitol Ave.

I still need a hotel reservation. What are my options?
Unfortunately, the official WFX show hotels are currently sold out. Please feel free to try and reserve a room in the event there have been cancellations. Or, visit our travel page for other hotel recommendations.

I am driving to WFX. Where can I park?
For driving directions, please call 317-262-3400 or visit .www.iccrd.com. There are multiple parking garages surrounding the Convention Center, as well as a parking lot on South Street, behind the Convention Center and RCA Dome.

I’m staying at an official WFX hotel. Are there shuttles to the Cobb Galleria Centre?
No shuttles will be provided. The Hyatt Regency has a skywalk that connects directly to the Convention Center and the Hampton Inn is a very short walk (2 blocks).

Can I take public transportation to WFX?
Yes, public transportation is available. For information regarding public transportation in Indianapolis, IndyGo’s Fixed Routes or Flexible Services, call 317-635-3344 or visit www.IndyGo.net.


REGISTRATION


When is registration open?
The WFX Registration Area is located in the lobby of the Indiana Convention Center. Registration is open 7:00am – 5:00pm on Tuesday, April 29 and Wednesday, April 30, and 7:00am – 3:00pm on Thursday, May 1. If you received your badge in the mail, there is also badge-holder pick-up available at the Hyatt Regency on Monday, April 28 from 3:30pm – 7:30pm (no changes can be made to badges at this pick-up time). Stop by this counter to receive your badge holder in advance and avoid lines!

  • If you received your badge in the mail: please proceed to the Badge-Holder Pick Up at the Registration Area.
  • If you have not already registered: you may register yourself at the Self-Registration Kiosks.
  • If you did not receive your badge: you may print your badge at the Self-Registration Kiosks.
  • If you would like to upgrade your pass: please go to the Help Desk.

I registered but can’t attend. Can I send a colleague in my place?
If you are registered to attend WFX but would like to send a colleague in your place, we will be able to change the name on the registration. To do so before the event, please call WFX at 800-598-6031 or direct your colleague to the Help Desk in the registration area onsite.

Can I bring my children to WFX?
For safety, security and liability reasons, persons under 16 years of age are not admitted to WFX. Unfortunately there can be no exceptions to this age restriction policy; please plan accordingly.


WFX HIGHLIGHTS


When are the Keynote presentations from Dr. Mark Beeson and M. Rex Miller?
The Keynote presentations will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of WFX Spring 2008. Dr. Mark Beeson’s Keynote will be held Wednesday, April 30 at 10:30am in Hall C and M. Rex Miller’s keynote will be held Thursday, May 1 at 10:30am in Hall C.

Are there any openings for the Church Tours?
If you are interested in a Church Tour, but have not yet signed-up for one, please check in at the registration counter to see if there are still openings. For attendees participating in the Church Tours, buses begin departing the Convention Center at 4:30pm on Tuesday.


WHILE YOU’RE AT WFX


What does my badge give me access to?
All Full Conference attendees may attend all Conference sessions over three days; the Exhibit Floor; Exhibitor-Offered Training classes; WFX Live! Concerts; the Conference Fellowship Luncheon; and Keynote Presentations. Only Full Conference attendees can sign-up for Church Tours and Hands-on Training classes. An Expo Plus Pass & Spouse Pass grants access to the Exhibit Floor; Exhibitor-Offered Training classes; WFX Live! Concerts; and Keynote Presentations. The full-day Pastors Executive Forum can be purchased with either an expo pass or a conference pass. This day-long event (Tuesday, April 29) includes a working lunch and refreshments throughout the meeting.

How can I learn more about the Conference sessions?
Our comprehensive search tool allows you to browse our Conference sessions by keyword, track and day. Or choose “Conference-At-A-Glance” to view the complete Conference schedule.

When is the Exhibit Hall open and where is it located?
The Exhibit Hall is located on the frist floor of the Indiana Convention Center and will be open on Wednesday and Thursday only. The Exhibit Hall will be open 11:30am – 5:30pm on Wednesday and 11:30am – 4:30pm on Thursday. View a list of exhibiting companies. You will receive a Show Directory onsite that will contain an Expo Floor Plan in the center pull-out section.

Where can I find a schedule of events and how will I know where to go?
You may pick up a schedule of events onsite at the Registration Area and WFX Information Booth. Your onsite Show Directory will contain complete event details including Conference session schedules, descriptions, and room assignments.

Is there somewhere for me to check email at the show?
Yes! The WFX Internet Café will be located in the WFX Main Lobby near the Show Office.

Is there a Baggage Check available?
For your convenience, baggage check will be available on Thursday only at the in the Hall D lobby. Cost is $2 per item.
