For over 15 years, HH Architects has partnered with Trinity Fellowship Church in developing multiple projects totaling more than $36 million on their current campus in Amarillo, Texas. Project scopes have ranged from renovation & expansion to an existing Worship Center, new Education space for all ages (Preschool thru Adults), new Recreation Facilities for the church and the private Christian School use, as well as the most recently completed state-of-the-art Worship Center with seating capacity for 4,000 people.

This growing congregation of over 6,000 in weekend attendance looked to HH Architects to develop a unique facility that provided for their dynamic weekend worship experience while also allowing for the flexibility for this space to serve as one of the larger seating venues in Amarillo. HH Architect’s responded by developing a 360 degree “in-the-round” design for Trinity’s new worship space. In addition to serving as worship space on Sundays, this venue is serving it purpose in providing for an attraction to local community by functioning as a venue for a wide range of activities from concerts to conferences to convocation ceremonies.

Such a unique design created unique challenges especially as it relates to technology common to today’s houses of worship; where do you put the Imag Screens? Not only are attendees sitting where they can see each other and the worship leader and band, but eight video cameras capture the worship action and display it on four large screens around the venue
