Pinelake is one of those innovative churches that every system design/installer wants to work with. When an opportunity came up to launch a campus 100 miles away they jumped at it and so did we.
Using the latest streaming technology Clark designed a system to stream two synced video feeds (HD & SD) from Pinelake’s Reservoir campus 100 miles away to their Starkville campus. The system is design around the pioneering virtual teach method developed by Clark in collaboration with North Point. A life size center screen the size of the stage and two smaller screen for IMAG are used in the main worship venue. Clark chose the Softmetal server from Ross Video systems for time slipping and Extron encoder and decoders. In addition a full compliment of lighting, and Renkus-Heinz audio system, was also installed .
In addition to Starkville, Clark also did a video upgrade at Pinelake’s Reservoir campus. Clark designed a solution for a custom floor-to-ceiling retractable screen that would fill the center stage area. With the use of edge blending technology, we opted for two rear projectors behind the new center screen to allow for seamless images to be projected from a tight space. Our two-projector solution also achieved the pixel quality of a higher-priced single HD projector. The screen comes with a custom switch allowing it to be used as a banner screen and full back drop.
