From “Noggin” to “Final Cut Pro”: The Art of Storytelling in a Digital Culture
You’ve installed the latest audio system and video projection equipment. You’ve redesigned all your lighting. Your worship space is fluid enough for a Broadway production of “The Beauty and the Beast.” Now what? When did you first touch a computer, shoot your first digital photo, capture your first digital video, or consider editing your first production? If you haven’t learned the essential skills of pre-production planning, the art of storytelling or the importance of content, your digital message may fall on deaf ears and blind eyes. This workshop is designed to give insight to the preparation needed to deliver powerful digital stories and to discuss the key elements needed to use a church’s given (or forthcoming) technology effectively when communicating its message.
Presenters:
Shannon Sellars, Coordinator, Digital Media Center, United Theological Seminary
Jim Eller, Adjunct Instructor in Digital Culture Ministries, United Theological Seminary

What steps do you need to take in order to make online giving an option for your members?
