OK, I’m In With the Missional Thinking, Now What?
Thursday, September 20 (3:30pm – 4:30pm)
Alan Hirsch has been a leading missional voice in rethinking a consumptive ministry approach. As our awareness grows that only 40% of our unchurched community will be responsive to our attractional weekend event we now see that discipling, equipping and sending are critical to our future. They are critical to deep life transformation as well as reaching the 60% that will never set foot in our weekend event.
So you ask…now what?
In this session we’ll dive deep and explore how:
- Innovative ministries are effectively executing Christ’s command to be both fishers of men (Matthew 4:19) as well as disciple makers (Matthew 28:19).
- Innovative pastors are seizing the genius of the AND by learning to both “attract” to powerful weekend services as well as equip others to be “sent” to reach the other 60% of their community.
- Weekly rhythms are vital to effective discipling and equipping.
- Developing leaders as well as your leadership can leverage your efforts deep into the congregation.
- Innovative missional facility strategies can help drive this holistic ministry approach.
To reach into this challenging ministry environment requires fresh thinking. Come learn from those who are pioneering the missional movement.
